Ministry In Mission Board Members
Jaclyn Rychel – Founder and President
Jackie retired from the Biotech Pharmaceutical Industry after completing fifteen successful years in sales, marketing, management and company development.
In 1992 Mrs. Rychel was one of twenty-five individuals hired to start the commercial sales division of Roberts Pharmaceutical Company. As the sales team grew she ranked in the top 5% of 120 specialty sales representatives marketing cardiovascular therapies to Key Opinion Leaders in Medical Centers in Ohio, Michigan, and Pennsylvania. Recruited to Boehringer Mannheim Pharmaceutical Company in 1996, as a Cardiovascular Consultant, to launch a new Biotech drug, Jackie quickly achieved a ranking of 4th in the nation among 220 representatives. After a corporate merger in 1997, Jaclyn moved to another Biotech start-up company, Celgene Corporation. One of twelve selected to begin the commercial operation; Jackie began in sales, and moved through management ultimately working with a team of four to create the Corporate Account division, servicing managed care markets, drug wholesalers, retail pharmacies, and the Federal Government accounts.
Within the eight years of service, Jackie’s efforts aided Celgene Corporation to grow from a research and development company carrying great risk, to a NASDAQ 100 company, with a 23.75 billion dollar market cap, employing almost 1300 people worldwide. Experience at Celgene included territory development, sales, marketing, management, hiring, and corporate account management. The final stop before retiring from the pharmaceutical industry was one last start-up opportunity at Alkermes, Inc. As a Manager of Market Development, Jackie was able to initiate activity in the Federal Government Healthcare system as well as the Justice and Recovery arena for Federal and Local Drug Courts.
All of this experience and acquired knowledge provide a platform on which to build Ministry in Mission worldwide.
Mrs. Rychel graduated from Bowling Green State University with a BA in Liberal Studies. She has been married to her husband Mark for 48 years. They have three children and six grandchildren.
