Thank You Lutheran Women In Mission
Ministry In Mission (MNM) thanks The Lutheran Women In Mission (LWML) for awarding us a grant of $85,000 at their Biennial Convention in Milwaukee Wisconsin in June 2023.
The grant “Lutheran Women In Mission Finish the Job” allows Ministry In Mission to work with The Evangelical Lutheran Church In Haiti to complete the work started by The Lutheran Church Missouri Synod Disaster Response after the 2021 earthquake in Haiti.
Ministry In Mission led by President Jackie Rychel, also displayed in the Exhibit Hall at the convention. Part of the display was dedicated to the new venture for MNM , ” Medicine In Mission” (www.medicineinmission.org). Medicine In Mission had their inaugural medical mission trip to the Dominican Republic in June 2023 as well.
MNM continues to support their elder care home, “The Jacmel Lutheran Home” , The Center of Refuge Orphanage, a twice weekly feeding program for at-risk Haitian children, plus other endeavors in Haiti and in the Caribbean.
