We are in Haiti! What a diverse team, young, older, people from Iowa, Illinois, Ohio, Virgina, all comng tohether to show God’s love to the people of Haiti. Sunday started out with worship at the First Evangelical Lutheran Church of Jacmel Haiti. Each team member felt uplifted by the Holy Spirit, even though the service was in French Creole. In the afternoon we took the Orphans from the Center of Refuge Orphanage to the beach and fed them rice, beans and chicken. These are the same kids that will relocate to the new orpanage that is under construction. Stay tuned, we are painting the boys bedroom and bath on Monday (yes they will have their own bath!)
